Ingredients;
4-6 Bananas
8 Egg Yolks
4 Cups of Whole Milk
2 Tbsp of Butter
2 Tsp of Vanilla Extract (You could add banana extract also)
1/2 Cup of All-Purpose Flour
1 Cup of Sugar
1 or 2 Boxes of Girl Scouts Trefoils Cookies
Directions
1. Combine flour and sugar in a bowl and set aside.
2. in a separate bowl, mix milk and egg yolks together.
3. Add flour and sugar mixture to milk mixture and whisk well.
4. Add mixture to a pot and allow to slowly thicken over a medium high heat. be sure to continuously stir so that mixture doesn’t clump or scorch.
5. Once thickened, add butter and allow to melt while continuing to stir,
6. Add vanilla extract and remove from heat. Let cool for 15 – 20 minutes before assembling banana pudding.
To Assemble: Add pudding, cookies or bananas in any order you would like to a dish. I add pudding first, followed by cookies and then bananas. Repeat process until done. Serve while still warm or refrigerate and serve cold as dessert. Enjoy!
