In Ukraine, Syrnyky are often enjoyed as a dessert, but they’re perfect for breakfast or a cozy snack too! This easy recipe is packed with flavor and protein, crispy on the outside, and silky on the inside. Whether you prefer them warm or cold, they’re a tasty treat. Plus, you can serve them with a little sour cream, jam, or honey for an extra touch of sweetness!
Tip: While shaping the syrnyky, always wet your spoon before dropping the dough to make the process easier and prevent sticking.
For an extra sweet touch, you can also add raisins into the dough!
Ingredients you’ll need:
400 grams of farmer’s cheese (you can also make it homemade – check out my recipe!)
1 egg
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
A pinch of salt
3 tablespoons of flour (more if needed)
