Ingredients
1 Golden Butter Cake Mix
1 15-ounce can pumpkin purée
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
4 eggs
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
8-ounces cream cheese softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour bunt pan.
2. Using an electric mixer, blend together cream cheese, one egg, powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth and well blended. Set aside.
3. In large mixing bowl, add cake mix, pumpkin purée, pumpkin pie spice, three eggs, water and oil. Mix on medium speed until well blended.
4. Pour half of the cake batter into prepared bunt pan. Gently spoon the cream cheese mixture into the center of the batter. Pour the remaining cake batter over the top. Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Garnish with powdered sugar.
