🍓 3-Ingredient Strawberry Mousse Recipe
✅ Ingredients:
2 cups fresh strawberries (about 300g)
1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
🥣 Instructions:
1. Prepare the Strawberries
Wash and hull the strawberries (remove green tops).
Cut them into halves or quarters.
2. Make Strawberry Puree
Place strawberries in a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth.
Pour the puree into a small saucepan.
Add 1/4 cup of sugar and stir.
Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
Let it cool completely.
3. Whip the Cream
In a chilled mixing bowl, pour in the cold heavy cream.
Beat with a hand mixer or whisk until stiff peaks form (about 3–5 minutes).
4. Combine
Gently fold the cooled strawberry puree into the whipped cream using a spatula.
Mix until fully combined and smooth.
5. Chill and Serve
Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
Refrigerate for 1–2 hours to set.
Optionally garnish with a strawberry slice or mint leaf.
🍴 Tips:
For a stronger strawberry flavor, reduce the puree longer before cooling.
Use powdered sugar in the cream for an extra-smooth texture (optional).
You can freeze leftovers for a frozen mousse treat!
