Today, I’ll show you how to make a sweet potato cake. This is an easy recipe that uses a frying pan and pancake mix—no oven required! Packed with sweet potato, the cake turns out moist and delicious with a gentle sweetness. It’s a perfect homemade treat for autumn, so I hope you give it a try.

【材料】（18cmフライパン1個分）
・さつまいも 1本（230g）
・ホットケーキミックス 150g
・卵 1個
・牛乳 100ml
・砂糖 大さじ2 ×2
・無塩バター 15g ×2
・はちみつ 大さじ1
・水 大さじ1
・黒胡麻 小さじ1

【作り方】
1.さつまいもを乱切りにし、水に5分浸す。
2.水を切りラップをしてレンジ600Wで３分加熱する。
3.バターをレンジ600Wで30秒加熱し溶かす。
4.卵、砂糖、バター、牛乳、ホットケーキミックスを混ぜ黒胡麻を加える。
5.フライパンに砂糖、バター、はちみつ、水を入れおよく混ぜ火にかける。
6.バターが溶け全体が沸々したらさつまいもを加えてよく絡めて並べる。
7.生地を流し入れ蓋をして極弱火で15〜20分焼き完成。

【ingredients】
・1 Sweet potato
・150g Pancake mix
・1 Egg
・100ml Milk
・2 tbsp Sugar ×2
・15g Unsalted butter ×2
・1 tbsp Honey
・1 tbsp Water
・1 tsp Black sesame seeds

【Instructions】
1. Cut the sweet potato into bite-sized chunks and soak in water for 5 minutes.
2. Drain the water, cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes.
3. Microwave the butter at 600W for 30 seconds to melt it.
4. Mix together the egg, sugar, melted butter, milk, and pancake mix, then stir in the black sesame seeds.
5. Combine the sugar, butter, honey, and water in a frying pan, mix well, and place over heat.
6. Once the butter has melted and the mixture begins to bubble, add the sweet potatoes, coat them thoroughly, and arrange them in the pan.
7. Pour in the batter, cover with a lid, and cook over very low heat for 15–20 minutes to finish.
